HARDA just finished another Swim & Survive program at the RLSA Aquatic Academy at Seven Hills. Every day for 2 weeks in Jan around 120 kids from Horn of Africa migrant communities go through an intensive program leading to the Bronze Medallion.

Jeng is another HARDA hero. She went through our swim and survive program for Horn of Africa communities, got her Bronze medallion & now teaches other kids while doing a medical science degree at Macquarie Uni. #ERCaus

A peaceful Ethiopia is essential for the prosperity of its people & the Horn of Africa region.

The @UN's immediate priority is the well-being of the people of Tigray and ensuring those in need urgently receive assistance. https://bit.ly/39TeAFf

I remain very concerned about the situation in the Tigray province of Ethiopia.

It is essential to quickly restore the rule of law, ensure respect for human rights, re-establish the delivery of public services & guarantee unfettered humanitarian access. https://bit.ly/3oyk9gc

HARDA- HORN OF AFRICA RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Over 110 children and youth from a Horn of Africa or CALD background took part in HARDA’s annual Swim & Survive program, sponsored by Dooleys Catholic Club. The program took place over two weeks, and consisted of daily swimming lessons for all levels from beginner to advanced. As always, the participants enjoyed the program and made great progress in swimming abilities and water safety awareness. We would like to congratulate a past program participant who completed her Bronze Medallion & Instructors course with us, and, served as one of our swimming instructors this year, fulfilling a long held program aim.#dooleyscatholicclub #HARDA #watersafety #swimandsurvive #astasevenhills ...
